When I was in college one of my friends (Hey Daniel) showed me this really cool trick. You can use nail polish remover to lift ink of a laser jet print to put on canvas. It was nifty at the time however, you could only get 50% of your image with the nail polish. Still it’s a neat trick and I held onto that process for about 5 years before I actually did anything with it.

I was trying to find a cheaper way to print my art recently. Though I could not find a discount store to print artwork on canvas that would not charge me an arm or leg I was able to perfect the process I learned from my friend(roommate). Though the process with the nail polish was not as effective as I wanted I begun to research other similar processes. That’s when I found acrylic clear paint gel. From that process I was able to crop large picture down into individual 81/2X11 sections, crop them, and reassemble them on the canvas all the while giving the photos and aged look while getting 80% of the photo to transfer to canvas. these where all photos that I took, printed on every day laser jet printer paper, reassembled into one large canvas, and then painted.
