This last year has given me a great deal to think about. Aside from my digital abstracts that I have been continually evolving I have been working on this new acrylic canvas process. I have been cropping my work into manageable individual sections, printing my art on a laser jet printer, and then reassembling the piece on canvas using an acrylic jell.
As I progress as an artist I find new artistic toys to play with, and new fuel for my fire. In quest for new an unique tools I have found two that stand out. Livescribe is a pen device that not only digitizes all of you work but also records the audio at the same time. I have found this tool extremely useful for my sketches and drawings. I no longer require a scanner because all of my work is saved as a vector image. Combine this with Al.chmey; an open drawing project aimed at exploring how we can sketch, draw, and create on computers in new ways. I think I am in for a interesting year.
