We found a kitten this weekend
Saturday night I was helping my wife with the laundry when I thought I heard a kitten yelp. At first my wife and I thought it might be a bird. But, I thought it sounded a little too vocal for a bird. I heard it a few more times before I decided to answer back. Whem he heard me he walked up into the light, very frightened. I meowed to him a couple of times and he came almost right up to me. Then he got scared and ran under Roxy’s car. Roxy and I coaxed him out with our cries and brought him on to the porch. My wife went to round up our cats in a room inside the house while we inspected the kitten. We found that he was scared and hungry. We gave him a saucer of milk and he sucked down the milk. We noticed that he had fleas, lots of the little bastards. We gave him three flea baths and a thorough look over. Once we where satisfied with his cleaning we contemplated making him a part of our family. Both Kai and Thelma wanted nothing to do with him. All it took was one hiss from Kai and we new we needed to find him a home. Unfortunately, there is no one open until Tuesday. He is just adorable. I’m hoping I can find him a home. Know anyone?
